Výstupy z registru ČNHP za rok 2025: von Willebrandova choroba
Centres participating in vWD survey within CNHP registry.
Median age of Czech persons with vWD is below 40 years.
Well known predominance of BG 0 is confirmed within the registry.
This slide is giving just general overview as it is not related to different vWD subtypes.
This and further slide show factor levels related to respective vWD subtypes. These data correlate well with published findings.
Children with no previous “bleeding challenges“ are having the lowest bleeding score. In women, over 52% have bleeding score over 5. (similar since 2020)
Type 3 has obviously the most heavy bleeding score.
Hepatitis and/or HIV prevalence in vWD patients within CNHP registry.
Annual bleeding rate and locatons of bleeds in vWD patients within the registry. Please note, that not all of the bleeds needed a treatment with vWF concentrate. Median ABR for all types of vWD was 0 in 2025.
CNHP 2025 data show average annual factor use per treated patient, highest in type 3 vWD. Small numbers may bias results, so more registry coverage is needed; in vWD it likely reflects real use.
This slide shows factor use in vWD patients on (often long-term) prophylaxis, which remains uncommon in CZ. vWF consumption is comparable to FVIII use in severe HA on prophylaxis and depends mainly on patient weight.
